Recession Mitigation Initiative (RMI) is a Special Initiative of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) aimed at contributing strongly to the Federal Government’s efforts at getting Nigeria and Nigerians out of recession fairly quickly. RMI aims to improve the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) in Nigeria by improving transaction processes and charging very reduced costs called Special Recession Costs.

It is with the view to optimally realizing the overall objective of RMI that CAC is strategically partnering with ECNPartners.

A major component of the Initiative is OYOC, which means “Own Your Own Company (OYOC), Legally and at very Reduced Costs.”

Under OYOC, you can now own your own company legally and at very reduced costs (Recession Costs). OYOC applies to Part A- Companies, Part B- Business Name and Part C- Incorporated Trustees (NGOs, Associations, Foundations, Clubs, Churches, Mosques and Unions). Similarly, you can transact other businesses with CAC at the Special Recession Costs. Other businesses which you can transact with CAC include Filing your Company’s Annual Returns, Changes in Directorship, Company Name, Share Capital, etc. All you need to do to take advantage of RMI is just to make your intention known to us through any of our contact channels and your desire is met.
